A couple weekends ago my daughter and I attended my best friend's engagement party! We decided to go with the color pink since it was just so fitting for us girls to be dolled up 😉.
I found this adorable pink tutu dress on Carter's/OshKosh Bgosh website. I fell in love instantly! I mean it is such a piece. It was in the clearance section for $14.99 so I automatically put it in my shopping cart, no hesitation. The largest size was 24 months, which is not ideal for my daughter who will be turning 3 in November. However, I knew this was the dress for the event and picked it up anyways. Even though she will probably only wear it once.
I decided to pair it with these gorgeous yet simple Minnie Mouse white sandals from Payless Shoe Source. White with pink automatically brightens up the outfit making baby girl look as fresh as a flower on a spring morning. I kept her hair simple by dividing it into three sections, one puff on the top and two in the back. We have not experimented with accessories and jewelry just yet. Once she is 3 I will see how she likes it.
Okay, I just had to come and show off my precious daughter with you guys. Hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it. Latah!
There have been a lot of new eye makeup releases in the drugstore in just the past couple of months. Everyone is coning out with new products so we can go broke and stock up for the summer lol. Like most of you, I fall for this trap and buy things I may never use or may not even like. Especially since I am a blogger. But then you have companies like Influenster who send you these products to review for free and you get to save some extra coins.
I am sure you guys remember a few weeks ago I reviewed Covergirls Total Tease Mascara. I enjoyed the formula however I hate the brush bristles. They are plastic and scratch my eyes when I am applying the mascara. This Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara has better bristles. They are much softer and glide through the lashes with ease. Reminds me of the brush on the Great Lash by Maybelline. It catches every lash but does not distribute the mascara as evenly as I would like it too. I know, I know. I sound super picky. But for mascara has to work 100% or I'm just not feeling it. I like to be dedicated to my mascara you know lol.
Overall, I rate this mascara a 4.5/5. They almost did it for me. The brush needs little but more work. The formula itself is amazing and lasted all day, even when I fell asleep in it. Perfect for us everyday mommies. Okay, that is all I have for now but I do hope to see you back here soon. Don't forget to follow me on Instagram, @styledbybeaver, to stay updated on my new purchases and what I am up to.
